iiitc, it rawks! [memories - 1]

Well, this day embeds inside it a big bunch of memories for me!
The first and foremost thing being the marriage anniversary of my mom and dad, hah, I dint see that even, still, that’s the best memory anyways! [;)]
A few others too… all sweet! Phew!!
And today, the nineteenth of the may, two thousand and six embeds itself in my memory forever… Yes, you are right; this day was our last official day at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Calcutta.
From May 22nd onwards, we do have to go to the institute, but there won’t be any classes… but exams! Rather, presentations to be more precise.
I have my turn on May the 24th. Yes, that will be the last day to have a tryst with college, but why am I calling this day as our last day? That’s coz the official academic session ended today.
And that no more Mallick sirs’ classes, no more Director madams’ lectures, no more Lopa Mams’ lab, no more Raju Sir or Mithun Sir’s labs… Not even a single lecture of Mahua mam anymore… god! Why does this happen? Why have we to leave college? It was so good here!!
Arre yaar, RDB mein thik hee kaha hua hai…
“Gate ke iss paar hum duniya ko nachate hain, aur Gate ke uss paar duniya humein nachatee hai…”
Lekin yaar, abhi thore din aur duniya ko nachane hai… yaar, iss university mein apnee kuch aukaat hai! Yaha log samajhte hai kee hum kuch karenge… lekin who yeh nahin jante kee duniya kee bheed mein achche log piss gaye…
Nahin, hum pisne ke liye nahin aaye hain, humein toh IIIT-C ka naam raushan karma hai, aur hum woh karenge.. aur yeh poori duniya ko bhi pata hai… aur woh isiliye dar bhi rahe hai… shayad isiliye meri joining abhi tak nahin aaye hai…
Pata nahin yaar… lekin aaj ajeeb lag raha hai!
The very special feeling of being a student is being taken away from me. Although, we seldom went to college for classes this semester and were busy with our projects, but still I strongly feel about today!
Well, by now, its 12:19am, May 20, 2006 and out last day at college… ENDS!
As the divine baba of the internet had promised to come up with memories of IIIT-C, those four golden years of life, I here in put forward the first post, by “VIRUS” or Aseem Shakuntal, followed by a heart touching pos by “Rajjo Darling” or Rajneesh!
